Food Truck Friday returns to Mount Pleasant from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. each Friday through Aug. 23, rain or shine, in the front parking lot of Central Michigan University Research Corporation, 2625 Denison Drive, in Mount Pleasant. This summer’s list of tasty treats includes: Cruisin’ Chef, Twin Turbo BBQ, Grub Hubb LLC, 3 Lil Pig’s BBQ and Catering, Ignite Donuts, Wells Wanderlust, The Patty Wagon, LumberJill Concessions, Central Fusion, DW’s Street Eatery, Nate’s Cart, John Reynolds Catering “Who Doesn’t Like Pizza?”, Phat Matt’s Food Trailer, Fire and Rice, AT Concessions and Greentree Grocery and Deli. Parking is available in the CMURC parking lot next to the food truck setup area.
Saturday, June 15
Sangeetayan Institute of Dance & Music of India will present its annual dance and music program at 2 p.m. at Grace A. Dow Memorial Library Auditorium, 1710 W. St. Andrews, Midland. The program will feature several Indian dance items by students of Sangeeta Kar. It will also present JAGANNATH, the 12th dance drama from this institute. These dance dramas are based on mythology of India and have large cast of dancers with authentic costumes and props from India. Narrations will be in English. The public is invited.
